The Somnia Tarot: January 2023 Project Update

Thank you all for your continued support of The Somnia Tarot and the Presale launch of The Somnia Tarot: Illustrated Edition. I hope you are having a great start to the new year!

Here are some updates on the project:

- The Somnia Tarot: Illustrated Edition comes with two Bonus Cards within each deck! Above are the designs that will be released on the cards. Originally, these inserts were blank in order to protect the first and last cards of the deck during production. I was able to add imagery to them, which makes them functional as alternate cards, bookmarks, or trading cards for Swap Decks/Magpie Decks.

- The Somnia Tarot: Illustrated Edition is currently in the Print Proofing stage at the printing press! I am eagerly waiting to receive the physical sample. I can't wait to share it with you.

- The Somnia Tarot: Illustrated Edition Promo Prints are now currently available on Etsy! These prints were premiered at The Oddities Flea Market NYC in December. The remainder of unsold prints are now available to purchase! There are one of each promo print, so act fast!

- The vessels for the Arcana Candle Series are in progress! My good friend and talented potter Will Donovan is creating a limited number of custom candle vessels for the upcoming designs: The Moon, The Sun, The Star and The World. Above are the two glaze tests for The World and The Moon. These vessels will have gold foil designs baked directly into the pottery glaze. I will also release alternative non-limited edition versions of each candle design.

- The Somnia Tarot Mobile App is making headway! I've connected with an app publisher who will work with me to create a unique app experience. I will be working on more animated versions of each photograph, such as the images in the header of this email.

- I am working out the logistics of a monthly subscription service, where I will send patrons a Monthly Tarot Reading in the mail. The cool part is - you get to keep the cards from the reading! Each envelope would contain 3-5 random cards from The Somnia Tarot series. If this sounds interesting to you, I will definitely pursue it.

- This December, I moved into my first home with my fianceé! I am in the process of setting up my new art studio. With this new space, I will now be able to fulfill Somnia orders more efficiently and quickly. Once I finish fixing floor and moving my tools into the studio, I am looking forward to creating new photographs for The Somnia Tarot Expansion Series.

- In the next few weeks, I will be announcing information about the worldwide premier of my new video documentary! The film was selected to be shown at a unique event in February. I am so excited to share the film with the world!
